Cider Carols-Art Auction – The ‘event’ that kicks off Christmas!

If after Thanksgiving, you are not feeling ready to start the Christmas Season, then this is the place to be to set your hearts in the right direction!

Thanks to everyone who came to our 3^rd Annual Cider Carols & Silent Art Auction downtown at Rocketown. Holiday decorations, incredible artwork filling the room, singers leading Christmas Carols, drinking hot cider, eating delicious desserts, catching up with old friends, meeting new people…it had it all!

Tara Dawn Christensen (Board Member) did a lovely job emceeing the event. Christmas Carols were led by: Micheal Boggs of FFH, Jason Catron, Charmaine, Melissa Greene of Avalon, Aaron Loy, and Brent Rader (singer & accompanist).

Special thanks to those who bid and received artwork and the sponsors for helping us raise nearly $18,000. Our sponsors were: HomeLift, Fidelity Offset Printing, KC Lambert Catering, Purity Dairies, Ezell Foundation, Lave M.D., Tri-Star Energy & Daily’s, Thrivent Financial, and the Robert Yeager Family. Also, thank you to all the artists that donated a piece of art for the Silent Art Auction, Devon Roberts for running the slides, Chris Yates of the Fish Radio Station for producing the show, and all the volunteers who helped make this event unforgettable!

Be sure to mark your calendar for this year’s Cider Carols & Silent Art Auction – Dec. 4, 2008. We will be taking donations of artwork for the Silent Art Auction from now until Nov. 15, 2008.
