Meet Katie and Beverly

Katie Gustafson

Katie is originally from Mobile Alabama and moved up to Nashville when she was in high school along with her family. She graduated from Belmont and then received a master's in counseling from Trevecca.

"The Hope Clinic has always been on my list. I used to live down the street from the clinic on Hayes st. and remember signing up to volunteer, but over committing myself to school and work and life and having to postpone." I definitely feel like God led me back to the clinic my last year at Trevecca when we were asked to complete a year- long practicum/internship. Immediately I came to talk to the then intern supervisor, Andy Garner, and it worked out beautifully. Now, I work on staff part time.

"I'm so proud of what we do here. My job is the Church Coordinator which basically works to develop and maintain relationships with existing supportive churches and prospective churches that don't even know we exist. I also do a bit of marketing and social networking."
