Phyllis is originally from Memphis, Tennessee. She lived in Los Angeles and worked for the Directors Guild of America prior to moving to Nashville. She began working in the non-profit sector when she arrived in Nashville and loved it. Her first position was with Crittenton Services. From there, she became the Vice President of Volunteer and Membership Services for Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee. Her most recent position was Director of Sales at Sweet Creations Pie Bakery. She has a BFA in Film from Watkins College and a Masters in Civic Leadership from Lipscomb University. She is now the Director of Development and Marketing here at Hope Clinic!

Phyllis enjoys watching movies, reading good books and attending exercise classes at the YMCA.
