Direct Client Training
Volunteers who would like to serve directly with our clients are required to complete Direct Client Training. The training is four hours long, and consists of group training, activities and role-playing, ACEs training, HIPAA compliancy, and child abuse reporting training.
Saturday training takes place on-site at Hope Clinic for Women and is scheduled from 9:00am - 1pm.
Tuesday training sessions are broken up into two parts and are scheduled from 5:30pm - 7:30pm via Zoom, a web-based video call platform.
You are required to stay the whole day on Saturday or attend both of the Tuesday nights. Meals will be provided for Saturday trainings, and a fee of $25 is requested for all attendees to cover the cost of your training, background check and food for Saturday trainings. You will have the opportunity to pay via PayPal when you sign-up to attend a training.
**Due to the number of staff required for each training cycle, we reserve the right to cancel a training if less than four people sign up. We will let you know in advance before we cancel training.**
Direct Client Training registration will be closed one week before the training. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Megan Snell at firstname.lastname@example.org or 615.627.2790.
