To provide all of our life-giving services to 2,000 women and their families in middle Tennessee, we need over one million dollars a year in donations. 96% of our entire budget comes from donations and majority is from individuals – just like you! Gifts of all size are so vital to our continuing this work. We conduct an external audit each year and our current year audit shows 82% of all expenses are directly related to client care. There are many ways to get your financial gifts to us! We invite you to join in our ministry with your resources!
Important Info 2020 Year End Gifts:
We are so grateful that you have chosen Hope Clinic to invest your precious resources in! In compliance with federal tax legislation all gifts made online must be received by 11:59pm on December 31st to be counted in this year. All checks made payable to Hope Clinic for Women must be dated AND postmarked by December 31st, 2020. If you would like to make a stock donation we require that you donate by December 28th so that we can process your gifts by the end of the year. As a reminder, these year-end tax gifts are eligible for traditional tax-deduction, but also the additional $300 that is offered in 2020 only for individuals who take the standard deduction. Hope Clinic Endowment Fund
After 35 years serving the Nashville area and growing both our client impact and budget substantially, Hope Clinic made the decision to start an Endowment Fund in 2018. Creating an endowment is an important strategy for us to set aside funds for the future. For us, it is a hallmark of financial sustainability. We hope to continue to provide care for years and years to come and if you’d like to be a part of that legacy, please considering donating to our Endowment Fund.
Our supporters are an incredible group of community leaders, teachers, physicians, mothers, fathers, and compassionate people. To learn more about how you can get involved and why people like you give their resources, watch this video from one of our supporters:
OTHER WAYS TO GIVE:
United Way and Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)
Hope Clinic is grateful to receive designated gifts through the United Way and the Combined Federal Campaign. To designate a gift, please write “Hope Clinic for Women” – making sure to write it in its entirety as there are several mid-state organizations with a similar name. For United Way of Metropolitan Nashville, you may enter the code 7010. For the CFC, our unique code is 55553. Please encourage your co-workers and friends to support Hope Clinic for Women in this way as well!
You can double or even triple your gift to Hope Clinic with a matching gift from your employer. To find out if you are eligible, contact your employer’s personnel department. They will provide you with a form to complete and mail to Hope Clinic. Please mail completed matching gift forms to: Hope Clinic for Women, Attn: Bookkeeping, 1810 Hayes Street, Nashville, TN 37203. Please call Sara Ellis at 615.329.2166 or email email@example.com with any questions.
Giving long-term, appreciated securities (owned more than a year) provide not only a great gift to Hope Clinic, but greater benefits to you as the donor! You can save current income for day-to-day needs because a stock gift does not come out of your cash flow. Stock gifts also lower the “cost” of your gift through savings on both income and capital gains taxes. Please call Sara Ellis at 615.329.2166 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and routing instructions.
If you would like to learn more about Hope Clinic before investing financially, we recommend attending our Introduction to Hope Clinic class. These are offered monthly at the clinic and include information from our CEO, management staff, and a tour of our facilities.
