If you have experienced a miscarriage, you are not alone. You did not do something wrong and this is not your fault. There is no right or wrong way to feel right now. Please don’t feel like you have to suffer alone. You can come by yourself or with your husband/partner.
Losing a child–whether moments after delivery or weeks later–can be one of the hardest things a mother will face. Please know that you are not alone, and that you are not to blame. Let us help you grieve and heal.
Adoption-Related loss or Failed IVF
Do you desire to have children, but are experiencing difficulty in becoming a parent? When faced with this, many feel a deep sense of isolation and grief. We are here to listen and process with you. Allow us to walk with you towards hope and healing.
If getting to Hope Clinic is an issue, we offer confidential and HIPAA compliant virtual counseling sessions through Doxy.Me.
How much does it cost?
All of our professional counseling is provided on a sliding scale based on income (per a recent pay stub or tax documents). Sessions range between $25-$85. We never want cost to be an inhibitor, so limited scholarships are available. Please be prepared with income documentation at your first session.
How long are the sessions?
Each one-on-one counseling session is scheduled for an hour and is available in person or virtually via a HIPAA-compliant video call service, Doxy.
Is this service faith-based?
While Hope Clinic is a faith-based nonprofit, we approach spirituality and faith at your comfort. If faith is a part of your journey we want to come alongside you to provide resources that will aid in your healing. If you are uncomfortable with faith conversations we will lean into our values-based and professional training for pregnancy loss counseling.
What types of pregnancy loss do you provide care for?
Some specific types of pregnancy loss that we are equipped to provide care for are:
- Infant Death
- Ectopic Pregnancy
- Failed IVF
- Failed Adoption
Do not let this list limit you if you are feeling grief related to a pregnancy that may not be covered above. We are able to help you find healing from a variety of losses.
Is it confidential?
Yes, our clinic strongly values confidentiality. We aim to create a safe and completely confidential environment to protect both your privacy and safety. Whether you are pregnant, experienced rape, a victim of sexual assault, date rape, or any type of abuse, we are here for you and want Hope Clinic to feel like a safe place to heal.
