Mara grew up near Milwaukee, Wisconsin and moved to the Chicago area to pursue her bachelor’s at Judson University. After graduating with a music business degree, she relocated to Nashville in August of 2019 for a touring job. However, she found herself looking for a career shift in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. She connected with Hope Clinic for Women through another local nonprofit she volunteered with called People Loving Nashville.
When she’s not answering calls or greeting you at the door, she’s cooking a meal for her friends, out on a run, taking care of her houseplants, or writing music.
