Direct Client Training

Volunteers who would like to serve directly with our clients are required to complete Direct Client Training. The training is seven hours and is broken into two sections: group training and specific program training. Group training includes activities and role-playing, ACEs training, HIPAA compliancy, and child abuse reporting training. After lunch, volunteers will work directly with the program manager supervising them to learn about their individual position.

• Training takes place VIRTUALLY  via zoom (with breaks) and is scheduled from 8:30am – 2:30pm.

A fee of $25 is requested for all attendees to cover the cost of your training and background check. You will have the opportunity to pay via PayPal when you sign-up to attend.

**Due to the number of staff required for each training cycle, we reserve the right to cancel a training if less than four people sign up.  We will let you know in advance before we cancel training.**
