Women of Hope - Hosts

What is Women of Hope?
Women of Hope is a fundraising event for women by women. Hosted out of donors homes, women invite their friends to shop donated clothing items and learning more about the mission of Hope Clinic. All proceeds go to benefit women and families in the community.

This fundraiser will be a multi-site gathering of women mixing fun, festivities, and learning about the vision and mission of Hope Clinic. We believe having this event across multiple sites allows women to socialize and learn about Hope Clinic in an intimate setting. The goal is to have each woman walk away feeling loved, valued, and enlightened. Then in return, they feel inspired to empower the women we support and serve at Hope Clinic. This event is a fundraiser! Money is raised in four ways: business sponsorships, raffle tickets, “pop-up” boutique purchases, and donations.

What is the Host responsible for?
  1. A space to hold the event. This can be a home with open spaces for mingling but keeps the intimate, cozy nature of a home (fits 25 for mingling, does not have to have formal seating). We will need a “try-on” space for our pop-up boutique.
  2. Food and beverage choice. You have creative reign to choose what kind and how many refreshments you would like to provide! Hosts will have the option to use a stipend from Hope Clinic of $400 for refreshment costs.
  3. Theme. Your house, your theme! You can decide if you want it to be a Mexican fiesta with margaritas and queso, afternoon tea & crumpets, or even southern comfort food & cowboy boots. Feel free to be as creative as you would like!
  4. Guests. Hosts will invite their own guests, so that individuals feel comfortable in a group gathering. The only exceptions will be Hope Clinic staff and volunteers who may attend. We are hoping that each event can have AT LEAST 15 people present and we would LOVE a bigger crowd! This may look like inviting your small group, bible study, Moms’ club, book club, etc.!
What does Hope Clinic provide?
  1. Budget. Hosts have the option to be reimbursed $25 per guest up to $400 for hosting and refreshment costs.
  2. Marketing. We have a custom invite that we can personalize to your event and send you to print and distribute to your guests. Each recipient will RSVP with you.
  3. Event Program. Overview of Hope Clinic and interactive experience for guests.
  4. Pop-Up Boutique. This pop-up boutique will include a variety of 50-100 items depending on the size of the event from casual wear, dresses, sweaters, formal wear, hats, and purses. It’s some AMAZING stuff from boutiques through Nashville and surrounding areas (all priced between $20-$50) – so make sure you reserve a bathroom or space for women to try-on items. We will also have a raffle with smaller items, where $20 will get you 5 tickets! This is a fundraiser!
  5. Day-of Support. We will bring 2-3 staff and volunteers to your event to help manage welcome/registration, the program, the pop-up boutique, and any questions ladies may have about Hope Clinic.
